First Alumnus Address by Grade 12 Batch 2023-24

On Monday, 9th March 2026, PICT Model School hosted its maiden alumni engagement with learners from the pioneering Grade 12 cohort of 2023–24. The distinguished alumni—Siddhant Fadnis, currently pursuing Computer Science at IIT Mandi, and Sachit Patnaik, enrolled in the BBA (Marketing) program at MIT World Peace University, Kothrud—graced the occasion.

The session commenced with a ceremonial felicitation by the Director Principal, Dr. Pampa Chaudhuri, who engaged the alumni in a dialogue to discern how their schooling had shaped their academic and personal trajectories, and solicited suggestions to further strengthen the institution's support for learners in their career pathways.

The alumni addressed Grade 11 learners, underscoring the indispensability of completing Grades 11 and 12 through structured schooling to cultivate robust conceptual foundations and disciplined study habits. They imparted valuable perspectives on time management, self-discipline, and informed decision-making.

Key Insights from Alumni:

Siddhant Fadnis accentuated the significance of sustained skill development in tandem with academics, asserting that the choice of institution profoundly influences future prospects.
Sachit Patnaik illuminated the evolving domain of digital marketing, drawing upon his internship experiences to provide a pragmatic lens on emerging career avenues.

Both alumni exhorted learners to align their stream selections with intrinsic interests and to immerse themselves in collegiate activities for holistic growth. The interaction culminated in reflective discussions on the transition from school to university life, highlighting the imperatives of independence, accountability, and self-directed learning
