Principal

Ms. Abira Mishra is an accomplished educator and academic leader who serves as the Principal of PICT Model School in Pune. With 27 years of experience in teaching and educational administration, she has worked with several reputed institutions across the country and has developed deep expertise in both the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) educational frameworks.

She holds a postgraduate degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, along with a Bachelor of Education degree. Over the years, she has combined strong academic grounding with extensive classroom and leadership experience, bringing a thoughtful and balanced perspective to school management and pedagogy.

In addition to her role as a school leader, Ms. Mishra has actively contributed to teacher training and professional development. She has conducted training programs for educators on activity-based teaching of Social Science, encouraging innovative and experiential classroom practices that foster deeper student engagement and inquiry.

Ms. Mishra is also a Cambridge English Examiner, associated with Cambridge Assessment English, contributing to maintaining global standards in language assessment and evaluation.
